winston & franklin

We LOVE our kitties. They are the best.

Joel was totally against cats in the beginning. He thought they were weird, creepy, smelly, etc.
Now he loves them too. :)

I don’t know what I would do without these two. I have totally become a cat lady… and if you follow my instagram- you know that. Sorry, I’m not sorry bout it.

Winston.

Franklin.

The other day they both got pretty sick. I will spare you the gruesome details… but lets just say it required baths and carpet cleaner. We think we might have actually found the culprit and are dealing with it as we speak. The other day we bought some rope for their cat tree that we made. The rope had a pretty strong smell- but we didn’t really think about it. Not long after the rope was put on their tree, they became obsessed with biting it and doing cat stuff… And then not long after that they got sick. :(

Happy to report they are both feeling much better! Thank goodness!

Just in time too, because they will begin toilet training (again). When the boys were kittens we had them almost toilet trained… (Franklin was pretty much there and then Winston punked out and started rebelling by peeing in boxes). We figured that they weren’t ready for it because they were still kinda small so we went back to the litter box. Unfortunately, the litter box is located in our downstairs bathroom connected to Joel’s very small office. Stinky!!!

Joel begged me to try to retrain the cats to use the toilet with Litter Kwitter so I ordered it and we will begin once it arrives. I am excited to see if they will pick it back up again. I sure hope so. :) I love cats- but houses that smell like cats… no bueno.
